Features

		Highly durable PVCu Constructed with 3-chambers, the profile allows separate drainage and reinforcement. All frames measure 70mm from front to back allowing the replacement of traditional 3" timber frames with the minimum of 'making good' remedial work. The PVCu system is also bevelled to provide a slimmer, more attractive look. Manufactured to BS 7413, the British Standards for PVCu window extrusions, the profile carries a full 10-year guarantee against discolouration and degradation.

		Internal beading All Visage® doors are internally beaded. This means that the beading that secures the glass into place is located on the inside of the frame and cannot be removed from the outside - helping to make Visage® one of the most secure systems on the market.

		Fully welded frame Many patio frames are manufactured with the PVCu lengths mechanically joined. This 'nuts and bolts' method can often lead to the frame being less strong. Water can find its way into joints and extreme temperatures can cause points of weakness. With Visage®, all joints are welded. This means that the window is a homogeneous structure, providing integral strength to the frame.

		Hookbolt locks The Visage® patio locking system comprises 4 concealed hooks built into a 1-piece keep that cannot be locked whilst open, preventing damage from being caused to the mechansim if the door is slid shut with the lock engaged.

		Anti-lift device Devices are situated around the sliding door, preventing it from being lifted and forcefully removed from the outside.

		Internal sliding door The door slides to the inside of the patio preventing it from being removed from the outside.

		Steel track and roller The sliding mechanism is manufactured from corrosion resistant steel ensuring a smooth, gliding action, first time, every time.

		Interlock A strong aluminium interlock prevents the panels from being levered apart.

		24mm double-glazing The Visage® patio holds 24mm double-glazing units offering a generous 16mm air-gap to improve thermal and noise insulation as well as combating condensation.

		Steel reinforcement Visage® patios are fully reinforced as standard. As well as giving extra strength in load-bearing situations, the steel reinforcement stops any expansion or contraction problems that may otherwise occur in the future. All Visage® woodgrain products come fully reinforced as standard.

		Corrosion resistant fixings As with all hardware on the Visage® patio, even the fixings are guaranteed against corrosion for a full 10 years. The screws are tested for 500 hours in a salt spray chamber to ensure their quality. This is 7 times longer than the requirements for BS 7412 - the British Standard for PVCu window construction.

		Weatherproof gasket The Visage® inline patio comes with a co-extruded twin glazing gasket designed to prevent shrinkage, improve weatherability and good looks.

		Ornate beading The Visage® patio features an attractive, internal beading, shaped to replicate traditional wooden finishes. The sculptured, ovular design looks especially good in mahogany or golden oak woodgrain effect.
